The first conference, “For the Society – Disaster Risk Reduction”, was held in Warsaw on 26.02.2014. It covered a wide range of issues, including “How to handle natural disasters” and “The social aspects of natural disasters”. The conference saw the students from various academies present posters concerning research and actions associated with reducing the risk of natural disasters.
